Who is this study tour for?
Cultural venues are increasingly looking to optimize their budgets whilst at the same time spend more time on creating more and better cultural experiences.

Program
DAY 1
City Tour & Meetings with 4 key cultural venues who have artistic and social strategies
Briefly describe your degree and any other highlights about your studies you want to share. Be sure to include relevant skills you gained, accomplishments you achieved or milestones you reached during your education.
We will visit The Lowery, Curious Minds, HOME and Future Art Centres where key personnel will talk about their artistic and social strategies.
DAY 2
TPC - Europe's leading conference focused on Engagement, Marketing, Digital and Revenue
What started as a niche conference about ticketing is now the leading global forum for cultural leaders, covering a broad range of topics such as AI, culture tech, organizational development and tomorrows audiences.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend a wide range of presentations that deal with the many aspects of how we collectively engage with the general public - organizational development, funding, communications and co-creation to mention a few
DAY 3
Discussion and reflection with leading UK practitioner
On the final day key invited guests will join us in a morning of discussions, ideation and co-creation, so delegates have a comprehensive cultural-engagement tool-kit ready when they come home.

What do we all love best about TPC? Free wine, obviously – but we also surely all love the opportunity to come together and learn from each other.

In this session, we are encouraging people to come along and share challenges they’ve faced, or are currently facing, while trying to improve accessibility or inclusivity in their venues – and to share solutions to help others, too

Study Tour
On arriving at Manchester Airport (cheap direct flights available with SAS!) we will be visiting 4 famous venues - who all have in common that they have a strong commitment and program that integrates artistic goals with social values and a financially sustainable basis.

Network Workshop
On the final day key people from Leeds Council and other regional initiatives will join us in a morning of reflection and setting a Scandinavian context on previous days many experiences and insights.

The study tour finishes with lunch and delegates can choose to rejoin the TPC conference - or make their own plans!
